MAX Receiver Scheduler Upgrade
Please check your receiver and make sure you are running Version 5.3. If you are not, here are instructions on how to upgrade.
Welcome To The MAX Receiver
- MAX installation video
- Log in to the web based scheduler. You can schedule shows to appear on one audio player or all four.
- You can also log in to your receiver via IP address. Find the IP address you were assigned by going through the front panel. Here's the menu tree.
- You can also find what channels the shows you are taking on the Channel Guide
- Wiring for closures.
- If you experience network traffic after hooking up the receiver check out these tips.
- Before you hook up the receiver your engineer should know the unit is configured NOT to supply power (18v at less than 500ma) to an LNB amplifier.
- If you do not have a splitter, you will need to enable the LNB power supply option in your receiver before connecting the MAX receiver to your antenna system. If you have a splitter, you can connect your receiver into the system without any changes. We wanted to give a heads up to folks who like to plug things in immediately!
- The wiring for the receiver is similar to the starguide, but we'll no longer be splitting programs on the left or right side of a service. So some re-wiring may need to be done to handle your audio and relay closures.
- We think you'll find the Q&A section of the website very helpful. Check out the latest comments.
- Our test channel is Channel 67. You will be able to test audio and relays.
Some things haven't changed. The MAX receiver will still utilize the AMC-8 satellite, so changes to your dish will not be necessary.
